Baptism & Communion Class
2nd Sundays of the Month
Ready to take your Next Step? Baptism and Communion are ways in which the believer can partake in an outward sign of the inward reality of what Christ has done within them. Take another step and make plans to attend. This class is held monthly on the second week of each month.
First Sunday of the Month
Communion is one of the ordinances of our faith and is also known as the Lord's Supper. Jesus intiated this practice at His last meal with the disciples. He told them to break bread and drink wine in rememberence of Him. We still do this today in an effort to remember the sacrifice that Jesus made on the cross for our sins. His body was broken and His blood was shed so that we can have life. We have a communion service every first Sunday of the month.
4th Sunday of the Month (as needed)
If you have never made a public declaration of your faith in Christ, we invite you to do so at our monthly baptism service. Colossians 2:12 says, “Having been buried with him in baptism, in which you were also raised with him through faith in the powerful working of God, who raised him from the dead.” Baptism is a symbol of your new life in Christ and a public testimony to the church body that you are choosing to follow Jesus. Saint Augustine said that Baptism is “changing citizenships” because Baptism is also a step of obedience and there is power in obeying Christ.
